The EU has allocated a grant for NeuroTAS, because the proejct is within the criteria of the 6th Framework Programme, thematic area Lifescience and Health. In the lifetime of the 6th Framework Programme, 2002-2006, the total value of grant within this area amounts to 2,3bl euro.
By the end of 2006 the 6th Framework Programme was replaced by the 7th Framework Programme, which also has a strong focus on health and lifescience.
